According to Bharti, one of the resigning vice-presidents, the majority of the members have resigned against the single-mindedness of chairman Vinay Aryal and general secretary Krishna Shrestha.
NASA’s biennial leadership selection conference and election was scheduled for September 5 in Orlando, Florida. But with Florida being the hardest hit state in the United States due to the growing Corona epidemic, two-thirds of board members decided to postpone the conference, general assembly and election for a few months.
However, Bharti said that the chairman and secretary general of the organization had informed him that the election would be held in Florida on the scheduled day even if the conference and general meeting were postponed. According to him, the majority of the board members requested for an emergency meeting of the board immediately after the notification was sent.
