Microsoft has launched an investigation into whether a screenshot of sensitive data was leaked. The attack is believed to have been carried out by the South American hacking group Lapus.
According to Motherboard, Lapus has shared screenshots of Microsoft’s sensitive data on its Telegram channel. The data contains the source code of Microsoft.
Lapsus has now deleted the posted screenshot and even if it has been deleted for now, it will be re-posted later. Microsoft is conducting research in this regard.
Lapus recently hacked companies like Samsung and Nvidia. The hackers claimed to have stolen 190 GB of sensitive data from Samsung.
